Bananafish Charity Fashion Show Newz Bar Liverpool in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust 2009

Wednesday night saw the second Bananafish Charity Fashion show in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Last Years Event was held at Alma de Cuba and was a great event, so this years show had a lot to live up to and it delivered in fine style. There was a completely different feel and overall seemed to be really relaxed and comfortable. Gail Porter hosted the event and she’s a real star, we got on really well and a couple of us went out afterwards for a few drinks to The Mal Maison Bar. Joanna Jones from Bananafish asked Cassie who has CF to Model in the show, I got chatting to Cassie and was really surprised that she wasn’t a model, she looked really great and the Crowd gave her a wonderful reception too. Alma de Cuba Halloween Angels and Demons 2009 Event

Last night saw The Angels and Demons Event at Alma de Cuba. The evening started pretty quite and initially a few people were saying that there weren’t as many people out in fancy dress as last year, but in the end I think this year far exceeded last year for atmosphere and the Angels and Demons show I think everyone would agree was quite amazing.

Paul Hogarth’s 50th Birthday Party

Last Friday night saw me heading down to Cheshire to photograph Paul Hogarth’s 50th Birthday Party. I didn’t know really quite what to expect but as you’ll see from the images, Paul and Judith really know how to put on a Party! The night was fantastic with a really welcoming and nice group of people and not to mention all the Playboy bunnies! Hope you like the images.

Uclan Fashion Show

Here are some images from Uclan’s Graduate Fashion Show. A number of Students had collections on display and the Fashion show will be going on tour around the world very soon to locations including Paris, China, India, and I believe New York too. The lighting was pretty poor at the event and I couldn’t use flash but  I think these  are some of the best from the Show

Alexie Portraits

Here are a few Portraits I did last week of Alexie. We quickly set up and got all that we wanted done in around half an hour, it was pretty hectic but Alexie seemed to enjoy it!! Ian who owns the wine bar in Eccleston is Alexie’s Dad and kindly asked me to do a few shots of him. I’ve also been cataloging some of his rare bottles of alcohol him for too. I may add those here at some point too. All these shots are pretty much straight off camera without any photoshop work, just exposure compensation.
