Last night saw The Angels and Demons Event at Alma de Cuba. The evening started pretty quite and initially a few people were saying that there weren’t as many people out in fancy dress as last year, but in the end I think this year far exceeded last year for atmosphere and the Angels and Demons show I think everyone would agree was quite amazing.

Last Friday night saw me heading down to Cheshire to photograph Paul Hogarth’s 50th Birthday Party. I didn’t know really quite what to expect but as you’ll see from the images, Paul and Judith really know how to put on a Party! The night was fantastic with a really welcoming and nice group of people and not to mention all the Playboy bunnies! Hope you like the images.

Here are some images from Uclan’s Graduate Fashion Show. A number of Students had collections on display and the Fashion show will be going on tour around the world very soon to locations including Paris, China, India, and I believe New York too. The lighting was pretty poor at the event and I couldn’t use flash but I think these are some of the best from the Show
Here are a few Portraits I did last week of Alexie. We quickly set up and got all that we wanted done in around half an hour, it was pretty hectic but Alexie seemed to enjoy it!! Ian who owns the wine bar in Eccleston is Alexie’s Dad and kindly asked me to do a few shots of him. I’ve also been cataloging some of his rare bottles of alcohol him for too. I may add those here at some point too. All these shots are pretty much straight off camera without any photoshop work, just exposure compensation.

Alexander Young are an archive document storage company based in preston. The guys over there commissioned me to do a series of architecture/documentary shots for they’re new website and rebranding.
Last Saturday was Grand National day in Liverpool and John Smiths held their official winners party at alma de cube for the second year running. Last year the winning jockey Timmy Murphy attended with the trophy but sadly this year the winner wasn’t present, all the same I think that this years event was much better with a greater atmosphere and vibe. Again alma put on a great buffet, with lobster salmon etc… and the usual mix of dancers, petals and music. The Band 6 toys topped off a great night with an energetic performance which the crowd loved, here are a selection of images…
